Cutting Edge Retention at a MAXimum level Micarta Hardness - 66° Rockwell
TWIN Cermax M66 has a much longer cutting-edge retention but will need resharpening. To sharpen use a sharpening stone such as TWIN Stone Pro or a Henckels diamond steel. Do not put TWIN Cermax M66 in the dishwasher. For safety reasons you should never put any knife in the dishwasher. Wash seperately, dry and safely store knifes after each use.
EDGE - Razor-sharp - holds the edge longer and is perfectly balanced. Due to the stability of the cutting edge and the Asian edge angle it is sharper and stays sharper.
BLADE - MC66 Steel (Micro Carbide Steel) Molten steel is atomized into micro-powder and compacted under high pressure allowing for the hardness of 66º Rockwell. M66 Steel is a clad metal covered with a high corrosion resistant steel.
HANDLE - Three rivet full tang handle with metal end cap for fine balance and comfortable weight. Micarta handle is a new material from linen and resin compounded by pressure and heat, creating the elegant wood-like apperarance.
