For salt mills, a commercial grade of stainless steel is used. This is done to help keep the salt from corroding the grinder mechanism. If it is a Paris u’Select mill that you are considering, the grind is adjusted by turning the ring at the bottom. Once the grind size is set, it will stay in place until the user changes it. Mills are made using a high quality French beech wood and accented with brushed stainless steel. For Salt use only. Matching pepper grinder versions available also.

Patented system that enables precise grind adjustment settings. 6 pre-defined levels of grind for salt.
